The writing is top notch, and I love the fact that readers learn more in this novel about Viktor Radek, a complex character whose motivations and vulnerabilities continue to fascinate me. There are at least seven books in the Inspector Troy series and each one is excellent. I was engaged, consumed, and on the edge of my seat from the first page to the end. When I first opened "hush, hush" I will admit I was unimpressed,every few pages I found myself highlighting details that seemed to come right out of books such as twilight, the house of night, beautiful creatures and a few more. Wonderful variety of ideas and beautiful photography.
