I think it is hard for me to reconcile the fact that this is the sequel to Pink Slip, which was truly funny and smart. Learning that some readers were running the scavenger hunt quests that Adam and Lance ran in the books, led to Nancy authoring the HIDDEN MICKEY QUESTS series so her readers could run even more quests when visiting Disney parks. Author recognizes the stresses of modern life and speaks to those factors. There's plenty of new stuff here for even the most jaded Japanologist and a treasure trove of exotic and enticing stories for the Japan neophyte. Hats off to the author for compiling so many different versions of these bibles, and telling the tale of their history by using great examples.
