The poetry of Arnold became a little cumbersome to me (I'm not much of a poetry enthusiast). Each character gets a history like a mini story , which is good coz it gives good background and helps you understand them ( but puts the timeline in question). It is a brief and quick to the point book, written by a man whose wife has Parkinsons. As soon as I'd finished this book, I had to turn back to the beginning and start again. No mention of strip or trench concrete foundations. The illustrations are very nice and really enhance the fun of reading this book. Brownson has some interesting points to make in his exploration of the causes of the Civil War. Great insight iinto Native American beliefs versus Christian and the attempted compatability between two distincly different methods of worship.
