I grew up with the image of women as amazing agents of change. To address that first issue, what annoyed me the most was the fact that the whole thing is just so darned wordy. If your a Whitney Houston fan, this book is a must have, excellent photo book. For those who want to wait and watch movie instead, I really and highly recommend the book first. Halfway to the Grave isn't perfect. The illustrations are so artistic and the story is sooo cute. But this is not the case. I was introduced to this book by a neighbor.
