Reads like a child wrote it. it would have been nice (or perhaps rather embarrassing for Christine) to match a recipe with a familiar name at a Thai restaurant to see how close the ah, abbreviated "inspired" recipe comes to it's authentic cousin, (at least twice removed). In his lighthearted and humorous narrative, Peter Jensen conveys the exhilarating, fortuitous and almost accidental discoveries leading to radio and audio as we know it today. While I agree this book is good for the hobby and is not a bad effort; owning it is not a wholly satisfying experience. Of course, Tazi persists. This book was generally informative, but too many of the photos were "artistic" with nice effects such as sunsets but locomotives with darkened profiles so that details were invisible. I had stated that the series had been cancelled but it appears I may have been misinformed. This book is a must read for anyone looking for guidance, inspiration, motivation or if you just want to read a great book this is the one for you. And there was a real effort at the start to make the writing deeper and interesting, but then it just chopped and changed so much that it was hard to sink in and get a hold of any point of view.
