Very fun for level two readers. Lately, my heart kept tugging at me to get the book back out and re-read it. But she also finds out what life's really like for women in 1813: all the social restrictions and proprieties that must be observed, the lack of modern day conveniences (like a loo and a shower), the dearth of career options open to women (basically marriage, teaching, or the streets), et cetera. Excellent edition for Peter Raby's introductions to all the plays and Wilde's original scenario for The Importance of Being Earnest. It is a great fast read and just about everyone will get something from it. And all I can say is WOWWW. After raising her children, she decided to get an MA in children’s book illustration from the Cambridge School of Art. So, do not expect an in-depth study of the subject. 'Allies is an account of the Iraq crisis, its causes and consequences.
