The problem is that even a winning formula can get into a rut, and while I enjoyed this latest Bruno novel very much I am beginning to sense a rut forming. This was a "historical" book about the difficulties in Postville Iowa, however, I feel the history played back burner to the many grammar and typing errors littered throughout this book. Which was a shame-over his long career, Harold Robbins has created some of the most interesting and sympathetic characters I have ever encountered in fiction. This book is short and of couse nothing is resolved so if you want closure, you have to spend another $4. I was hoping for a great read into the insight of a great man.
